Spending my Sunday Night with doing Art Project

It's raining outside, here in my hometown Salatiga,
While i was doing my art project, I listened to my favorite music: It's raining Outside by Soko. Here's the lyric

It's raining outside
I'm crying inside
It's raining outside
I'm crying inside

5 a.m in the dark
You like a cold fish with me
You're sleeping I'm thinking
You're turning back to me
Here in my bed you're mad away from me
Here in my head you're never close to me

It's raining outside
I'm crying out loud

It's raining outside
I'm crying out loud
I run away by foot

Lost in the empty street
You are supposed to follow me
But you are too proud to do it
Here in my bed you're mad away from me
Here in my head you're never close to me
Come on... don't be bad I told you I need you
Come on... don't be sad I'm still in love with you

It's raining outside
May I come inside?
It's raining outside
May I come inside?

It's my fault, I'm sorry
Let me happy this fight
I apologize, would you hug me tonight?
Here in my bed you're mad away from me
Here in my head you're never close to me
Come on, don't be mad, I told you I need you
Come on... don't be sad I'm still in love with you

And TADAA! My art project had been finished :). I named my project with Brand image of me
Brand Image of Me, Annisa :)
Do you wanna ask me, Why??
That's the image of me, short hair, wearing vintage outfits with contrast colour. I hold baloons, I'm and Gen Y, yep, my dream job. Gen Y (red: Generation Y) known as the Millennials, the fastes growing segment of today's workforce. The generation of people born during the 1980 and early 1990s (including me which was born in 1991, hehe). The characteristic of Gen Y:
  1. Using technology to perform the job better (Blackberry, Laptop, and other gadgets)
  2. Flexible schedules and a better work/life balance professionally
  3. Team oriented
That's my style signature, different, and definitely i don't like to be mainstream :p

Filming and Cinematography impact's for tourism

Forbes, 12/14/2012
Ever since 2001, many of us have come to recognize New Zealand as “the place where Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, was filmed.” Now even more people know it as “the place where I took my vacation.”
According to the general manager of Western long haul markets for Tourism New Zealand, Gregg Anderson, “We’ve seen a 50% increase in arrivals to New Zealand since Lord of the Rings.” The first film in the trilogy, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, was released in 2001.
Lord of the Rings may have contributed to the economy of New Zealand…but then again, as Anderson said, “I’m sure Lord of the Rings played a huge part in that, but it wasn’t the only factor.

Comparing with one of Indonesian Film, 5 cm. Yay, I have a chance to watch "one of Indonesian great movie". (Yep, I said that because, lately, most of Indonesian movie only told about "ghost and sex"). That's so pleasure, finally Indonesian cinema is back. New paradigm of Indonesian cinema has been started. Yay, i can't wait to spend my pocket money in cinema. :p

The setting of 5 cm took place in Mt. Semeru (Mahameru), the highest mountain in Java Island. Nice cinematography on filming, i think can promote Mt. Semeru as one of natural heritage in Indonesia. And I wish, that film could  play huge part in our economy. I hope, the next Indonesian films could promote our treasure to others.

Young Adult Awareness's of Heritage

Heritage can be perceived as something boring to young people. But, it doesn't work to me, I was so obsessed with heritage, i think it sounds like something unique, different, and have strong identity. That is tough, when i look young people underestimate their heritage. I have a story about my colleague, he comes from Pekalongan. Fyi, Pekalongan was called as Batik City that was admitted by UNESCO. Majority of population in Pekalongan work at Batik Craft Industries, and so does his family. Then, I asked him, "Do you wanna be the next generation in your family business?".

He said, "No, I don't."

"Why? If I were you, I would be a batik designer and make my design go international."

"....."

The short conservation between me and my colleague indicates that he wasn't proud of his city heritage. As young adult, and the next generation, i think with youth strength should preserve our heritage before it's claimed by another country, and ends up with losing our identity.

What is it that you want, looking our identity promote as another country's in somewhere else in the world?

In my opinion, heritage have a strength as brand image of city. Cities without identity, is nothing. The identity can comes from the heritage, history, and past. A cultural sustainability is a link between past, present, and future. You can promote your city trough identities, and the brand image. We can learn from Singapore as multi ethnics country, and its proudly brand "Uniquely Singapore". Eventhough as a developed country, they remain preserve their heritage and identity. It doesn't seen something old and boring again, isn't it?

Hi young people, do you interest with heritage from now on? I suggest you to surf this site. Enjoy! :)
